Summer Camp Information
Wesley Chapel MMA has put together the ultimate summer camp for your child. This year the summer camp will be into divided into 5 different themes: Olympic games, Nerf games, Strength & Conditioning, Ninja Courses, and Mixed Martial Arts.
Weeks 1 & 5: Olympic Games
Campers learn about different Olympic sports and participate in mini-competitions inspired by events like track and field, basketball, archery, soccer, fencing and more.
Activities include relay races, long jump competitions, mat dash, dunk contest, etc.
Campers also learn about the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play.
Weeks 2 & 7: Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)
Campers are introduced to basic martial arts techniques from disciplines such as Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Judo, wrestling and boxing.
They learn fundamental strikes, kicks, blocks, grappling techniques, and self-defense strategies.
Emphasis is placed on discipline, respect, and self-control, rather than aggression or violence.
Weeks 3 & 8: Strength & Conditioning
Campers participate in age-appropriate strength and conditioning exercises designed to improve overall fitness, agility, and endurance.
Activities include bodyweight exercises, resistance training, agility drills, and cardiovascular workouts.
They learn about the importance of regular exercise, proper form, and staying active for a healthy lifestyle.
Weeks 4 & 8: Ninja Course
Campers tackle ninja-inspired obstacle courses that test their balance, agility, and coordination.
They learn how to navigate through various obstacles such as rope swings, balance beams, and more.
Campers are encouraged to challenge themselves and support each other in overcoming obstacles.
Weeks 5 & 10: Nerf Games
Campers engage in various Nerf-based activities and games, including capture the flag, football, soccer, team battles, dodge ball, and target shooting challenges.
They learn about strategy, communication, and coordination while having a blast with Nerf blasters.
Safety protocols are emphasized, and campers are taught how to use Nerf blasters responsibly.
Bringing your own Nerf gear is highly encouraged.
Other Activities
We play board games, games that might be new to your child like crab soccer, bowling for ninjas, and fastest alligator. Our facility is big enough to play indoor Wiffle ball, soccer and throw a football around. We always listen to our campers, so if there is a game they want to play that isn’t on our list we always try to accommodate it.
Ages & Number of Campers
Camp is designed for ages 6 to 13.
Limited spot per week.
Food & Water
Kids must bring a lunch and/or snack and drink(s).
Staff & Instructors
Our staff is hand-picked, experienced teachers from the public school county schools. Unlike other camps staffed by teens and individuals who lack experience with kids, our staff has 15+ years of teaching and are parents themselves. Our staff strives to make sure every child has a great experience and a lot of fun during their time at our summer camp.
